MSc candidates Karissa Jeha (left) and Victoria Lathier (right) presented research posters about their thesis projects at the Nutrition Research Day. Karissa's project aims to evaluate a food literacy intervention in kids while Victoria will explore factors influencing food literacy and eating behaviours in military recruits.
Les candidates à la maîtrise Karissa Jeha (gauche) et Victoria Lathier (droite) ont présenté des affiches de recherche sur leurs projets de thèse lors de la Journée de la recherche en nutrition. Le projet de Karissa vise à évaluer une intervention pour améliorer la litératie alimentaire chez les enfants, tandis que Victoria explorera les facteurs influençant la litératie alimentaire et les comportements nutritionnels chez les recrues militaires.

Joie Shaw, master's candidate under Prof. Giroux, gave a fabulous presentation about her thesis project on the food literacy of university students at the 91st ACFAS Congress.

Applied Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism Award for Nutrition Translation for the Year 2023-2024
Prof. Giroux's doctoral student Coralie Vincent recently received the journal's Applied Physiology, Nutrition and Metabolism Award for Nutrition Translation, given by the Canadian Nutrition Society in collaboration with Canadian Science publishing, for her systematic review on disordered eating during the menopausal transition.
